Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I help clients reduce their tax liabilities. On a day to day basis, this usually includes completing site visits, completing portfolio analysis for clients, analysing and organising large volumes of financial and property data and preparing valuation evidence for appeals.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it as its a social team with very helpful people. Mentors are very good as they put time and effort into my development and learning journey

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many skills in only the 6 months of me being here, the main one being how to communicate to team members. I have learned to become more outgoing and extroverted which has helped me speak to and meet new people

It is very well structured. we have regular calls to explain and help our process and any updates. they break everything down very clearly for us

A lot of support, they are easy to reach and very easy to talk to

I do receive a lot of help and guidance in terms of university and APC competencies

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many which we had a day to find out about such as football and gym. i use the gym alot so i am happy with the extra curricular activities
