Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I create technical design solutions and use CAD to do this. I also work within different software's such as Plant 3D and Inventor.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

So far everything has been great. I am learning a lot and gaining a lot of experience.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Most days I come into work I learn a new skill or some new knowledge. All of this gets developed by doing it day in day out.

It has been good so far however there has been a few misunderstandings/ miscommunications

My employer also gives me 2-3 days a year to complete training course which will further develop my knowledge and skills

In other offices there is a 5 a side football team, there is also a sports and social group that do networking events.

They are a welcoming company who develop and put a lot of effort into you as an apprentice
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Arup?
Keep an eye out on there own website as sometimes they arent advertised everywhere
