Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As Marketing Lead for Maritime Academy Trust, I oversee the development and delivery of a comprehensive digital communications and marketing strategy that enhances brand awareness, supports school-level admissions campaigns, and strengthens internal engagement. I manage the Trust’s social media presence, website, and intranet, creating compelling multi-channel content and coordinating activity across schools to ensure brand consistency and impact. I line manage the Trust Marketing & Communications Officer and Marketing Assistant and collaborate with Headteachers and central departments to drive audience-focused campaigns, promotional activity, and stakeholder relationships. My role combines strategic planning with hands on content creation using tools such as Visme and Canva, while supporting schools in maintaining compliant and engaging online platforms. Alongside these responsibilities, I am undertaking a Level 6 Marketing Manager Apprenticeship, dedicating six hours weekly to study and professional development.
