Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my role as a Demand Analyst, I spend a significant amount of time conducting data analysis, leading forecast reviews with Account Managers, facilitating global demand reviews, and working closely with Supply Chain through regular meetings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I completed a Level 2 Customer Service and Level 3 Business Admin course as part of my apprenticeship programme. I enjoyed the Buiness Admin course more than the Customer Service as it related more to my role and responsibilites and focused more on general business topics.
From a work standpoint I am continously challenged and given advanced responsibilities, along side this I am able to work indepentently which gives me confidence.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
One of Cummins primairy focuses is growth and development. I have attend multiple courses provided by Cummins such as advanced Excel, PowerBi and VBA training. In addition to this my role has enabled me to develop skills such as communiaction, team work and public speaking. I am consistantly improving my knowledge and skills by completing my day-to-day responsibilities.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My growth and development within work has been well organised and managed, I track progress in my weekly 1:1s with my manager. We discuss all current and upcoming work and development in these sessions. My college progress is tracked in quarterly meeting with my manager and college assessor.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My manager has always been supportive, proactively helping me build a strong understanding of key areas and offering constructive reviews of my college work to ensure high quality and attention to detail.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My college assessor has always been supportive and has helped me when needed. We have quarterly progress reviews which we also use to discuss any questions or concerns I have regarding work or college.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The level 2 Customer Service course I completed didn't support my growth and development in my role as I wasnt in a Customer Service role but the knowledge I gained from the course is still useful. The level 3 Buiness Admin course was a lot more supportive as it related to my role and was based on general business which is key knowledge when working in a sales role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Every employee at Cummins must complete a minimum of 4 hours of EEEC work every year. EEEC work is volunteering to give pack to the community. Cummins works with serveral community partners and we can volunteer for any of the activities. These can also be done as in groups or as a team which gives the oppertunity to build communication and team working skills.
