I work with a great site team and feel as though i am able to take ownership within my role in order to progress my career.

I knew nothing about construction or quantity surveying before I started and have now developed a strong baseline knowledge.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Overall the programme is a decent structure although I feel as though more clarity is required on certain topics.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am luckily in a position where I haven't required much support from the early careers team, although the site team are very supportive
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have a college assessor to guide us through the process with regular meetings.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel as though hands on work experience is much more valued than academic work, which is demonstrated through the contrast in knowledge that i have gained through work/college

There is a sports and social club within BAM that has a wide range of events to get involved in, the club is a great idea.

Why?
BAM are a great company to work for and offer a strong benefits scheme. The degree apprenticeship is a great course and I am enjoying it.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAM?
Monitor apprenticeship openings and apply early.
