Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an Internal Audit Apprentice, I am assigned to audit projects where I review risk management practices and provide assurance over how effectively the control environment operates. I rotate across different audit areas approximately every six months to gain a comprehensive understanding of Lloyds Banking Group, including Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Retail Banking, and Commercial Banking.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme to an extent, the teams and company culture is good. The apprenticeship study programme with the university could be better.

Kaplan was excellent but BCU not so much- their systems are a bit outdated.
