Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I have been involved in client works, including drafting reports and valuation. I have also involved in responsible investment team on reporting and researching.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. I have been working on a project on my own, with the help of a project mentor. I have also been doing various client work and have the client team reviewing my work and providing feedback.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

The internship has been a valuable experience as I can better understand what tasks I will be expecting if I decided to pursue a career in this field after graduation. I have also strengthen my communication skills as I have been involved in a lot of team works that require regular catch up, as well as reports and publications drafting.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I have received a lot of support and guidance. I have weekly catch up with my people manager and project mentor, as well as my buddy. I can always ask my colleagues for help if needed.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

All the colleagues are very friendly and are all willing to help when I need. There are also various social events available for staff to join. Every staff is required to attend 3 volunteering activities in a year, which I think is an amazing culture. I have joined several socials and volunteering events and I had a very great time. The company culture is amazing.
