My role involves me communicating with solicitors and clients, filling out security forms, creating documents sharing sites, booking desks and train travel, finacials.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme; I have a lot of support and get taught amazing skills throughout my career with plenty of opportunities to progress further in the company.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many skills within my role as my career background has been hospitality. Most of the skills I have developed required me to start fresh and resilient.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very organised with my takes being outlined clearly within the team and the apprenticeship work being broken up into modules.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support and understanding within the company and my education provider with opportunities for reasonable adjustments to be made in order for me to progress and learn in a way that works for me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lo of support and have regular catch-up/coaching meetings with my head coach.

Because it has taugh me so much about business structures and the office environment. I have been treated with respect and made to feel equal. Everyone has been friendly, understanding and supportive in my progression.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Irwin Mitchell?
Don't let your anxiety around the office environment get in the way of you enjoying your time. It is worth it and will help you socialise with the teams around you.
