Work on accounting and tax compliance tasks, spanning corporate tax, VAT, both research and development and patent box claims and some transfer pricing work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy being challenged at work and the college studies, having to study on top of working full-time can be straining but will be worth it in the end.

I have improved a vast range of skills - communication, building relationships, ethics, integrity, business insight, problem solving and decision making.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Work is well structured. I am in control of my college and exams, this is good as I can go at my own pace and my manager is very helpful, however, sometimes as I am the only apprentice in the tax department I need to reach out for more information from Kaplan, the ICAEW and CIOT for exam information.

Good place to work, I have a supportive manager and other colleagues are friendly too.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Cummins?
Cummins is a huge company, in my first couple of weeks I only started to realised the size of it. Over 70,000 employees worldwide is difficult to imagine until you start!
