Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role in telephony based. I answer calls nad help customer when dealing with frausulent claims or blocks ont here account. It can be difficult but rewarding as you are ultimately helping them keep there money safe.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have been enjoying my program a lot. There are many opportunities to learn many skills in addition to the required ones. Everyone had been very supportive for learning as many skills as i can.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed exhisting skills and learned new ones. I already had many skills in customer service from years of being in a customer service based role but this role has given me additional training and materials that have enabled me to develop those skills.

It is very well organise.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

If i have any issues there are many channels to raise it. If i need anything it always gets dealt with and addressed in a timely manner

full support. built into the role is time to work on our apprenticeship qualifications
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps greatly. The qualification is giving me insight into the banking world that i would not have necisarly known about if i was not doing the learnng aswell
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is constantly events and activites for you to take part in. There is a great social atmosphere with the bank.

It is a great oppurtunity as in an for the banking world. Whether working for fraud is the main goal or if you are after another role this apprenticship can offeer you skills that can help youw ork towards what you want.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
I would advise you to keep an open mind and be open to learning everything they are able to offer. Confidence in yourself is key.
