Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

i am a customer quality engineer, we talk to customers world wide if they have an issue with their engine. this can involve: talking to the customer, talking to the part supplier, screening parts, getting replacement parts, logging all details, and others.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

some days are slow others are fast and others you don't even sit down at all.
Uni however is a time tabled day that lasts from 9am-8pm and can feel like to much information.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

yes, now i can use a miller machine, a lathe, a CNC lathe and CNC milling machine, as well as work with sheet metal and basic hand tools

currently is going through re-structuring
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I'm able to get days for revision and to complete exams, while also having a day release to go to uni. as well as book meeting rooms to either do revision or assignments.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

given revision days and revision sessions. lectures get back fast when answering emails. however sill unsure on what needs to be done for EPA.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

given a back round knowledge to help solve problems but not everything is used.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there are, we have team dinners every quarter.
