Investment Banking Summer Intern Review

As a summer analyst, I have worked in various projects for multiple teams. My daily job includes data updating, information gathering, data analysis, slides creation and beautification. Working on live deals and projects highly improves my professional and technical skills. In the meantime, we've also done lots of coffee chats and networking, which constructs better communication skills.

Yes, I have involved in different projects and took the responsibility on my own to accomplish the task. I have also taken some initiatives: I studied the ratings model and update it. Besides, I do have some exposures to business by accomplishing a sponsor list for business services sector and working on a live deal.

By doing projects, my professional and industry-specific skills have been highly nourished: I've learned how to build DCF and LBO models and how to conduct comparable analysis etc.. Also, my communication and multi-tasking skills have been improved by working on multiple staffing at the same time. I've learnt lots of professional skills and personal skills by talking to lots of people in the bank.

I have received lots of support and guidance during the whole internship. My buddy, DO, and mentor are all very supportive and helpful. They gave me lots of useful and genuine advice. I really appreciate that. Also, for the people I've worked with and my staffer, I also want to thank them since they always encourage me and help me out.

I can really tell the company cultures are fantastic -- everyone is supportive and kind. I do love the bank and people and really want to work here!

This summer is fantastic -- I love the cultures and people. Also, the work gives me an opportunity to have the real experience to find out the job and industry in a whole. The bank and work is way more exceeding my expectations. I would definitely want to go back and start my career in BofA if I have the chance. It would be my honor to work here.
