Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
2/5
Placements highly rely on a lot of factors which decide if they go well or not.
Overall tasks given to me on placement are fine, they are not difficult, however this is only due to previous workplace experience, another apprentice on the same placement may find it quite difficult.
There is an overall lack of team integration and involvement from my placement manager and overall team, which can lead to the placement being very mundane and lacking in learning.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
Overall I am not enjoying the programme so much, which is mainly due to the reasons stated regarding placements.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
2/5
My CAD skills have developed through college work, but that is about it.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
No complaints.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
There is plenty of support if you know where to find it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
College experience has proved to be lacklustre, assignments being difficult to complete for avoidable reasons such as tutors giving unclear, incorrect or unsupportive advice or not providing assisting materials until a week before submission date.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Some of the skills learnt at college are transferrable, but its entirely placement dependant if they do or not.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
No
