Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is essentially underwriting the risk on policies, and conducting risk analysis to produce a price on a single risk.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Had a huge amount of opportunities throughout the apprenticeship, these included helping with work experience and assessment centers.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have an eye for risks now, I'd say I've developed strong risk assessment skills, improved my risk analysis and in general my whole knowledge on the insurance market has improved significantly.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I'd say the programme could be slightly longer, just as it doesn't take into account a few factors.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received massive support from my employer and my team at Aon, really helped me on my journey to securing a full time role.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I had regular catch up calls with my coach, but in terms of assisting with exams or any advice there wasn't much help in that regard.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
You learn more about your role and the market in general which is ideal as some things come up which make you understand different things better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have many network events, work socials and it's good to connect with the team outside of a work environment.
