Overall, how would you describe your experience at BT Group?
Overall it has been an extremely positive experience at BT Group! I have been provided with multiple opportunities to develop, have been included in events, have been given flexibility and the chance to grow and try new things
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the responsibility and the chance to collaborate with other stakeholders. Leading projects and given the chance to make mistakes as well as to try various other ways of working.

My perks and benefits along with my salary being above the "market rate" has provided me with a lot of motivation, flexibility and a sense of security. I feel valued by the business and have the opportunity to treat myself through BT discounts, rewards and perks, along side taking care of my personal commitments too

Line managers have been brilliant, their support and constant look out has been reassuring it has allowed me to flourish more as I know they trust me and will back me if anything goes wrong.
Buddies and others have been a strong sense of support, they all have helped me to be more confident and encourage me to grow further and enable me to do my best.

How is your work-life balance?

No complaints in regards to work-life balance, people at BT are very conscious of time and highly value time as well. They ensure calls are not before 9:30, during lunch or after 16:00 to ensure everyone has enough time to themselves. There are no messages or expectations after 17:00, weekends are completely to myself and the flexible hours along with 2 work-from-home days each week allow me to navigate my life around work easily.

Why?
Based on my current experience, BT allows you to develop soft and hard skills in multiple ways- I have been here for 8 months and have already developed various skills. The flexibility and opportunities to develop really push you to excel. Senior stakeholders are very approachable and are more than happy to help, learning from their experience and building a connection with them has been highly beneficial and insightful.

Showcase your personality and be open to challenges and opportunities, nervousness is expected but don't let that hinder your talent - and be open to making mistakes, the recruiter is not looking for perfection rather they want a team member with character and a personality that shines through.
