level 3 supply chain practitioner apprentice Review

My role involves the planning of what is to be produced on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis within the machine shop. This is a dynamic role that can change at a moment's notice based off of the whims and demands of different teams like S&OP as well as the health of a machine, and its current level of output. Day-to-day, I will attend meetings; update DSUM boards; put together packs and assist with the creation of plans. The work can be repetitive at times, but it is varied just enough for this to not impact the role too much. 3.5.

Structure is good, comms are poor at times.

Employer is accommodating, offering subsidised bus services as well as benefits and health check-ups.

The training staff is incredibly helpful, and are all amazing at what they do. My skills coaches have been helpful and guiding the whole time. If there is ever a problem or worry with an assignment, they will be happy to help.

From what I have learned so far, I feel that what we have learned so far holds little relevance to my work and hasn't made much of an impact on my performance at all, whether that be positive or negative. The programme very much feels separate from the actual placement work I do, However, I am aware there is more supply chain specific learning coming up that I hope will be more relevant.

It is a company that will look after its employees, and will challenge them to grow and develop their skills. It is a company with good future prospects and is therefore one that people can build a great career at.
