Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
-Intern hiring for 2026/2027 cohort: I owned the entire recruitment process, which included organizing the Showcase days.
-New Hire Onboarding Sessions: I conducted onboarding sessions for new hires throughout Europe.
-Travelport CSR: I helped in organizing CSR activities through initiatives such as Care Days and planning my own CSR activities with the other interns.
-Emerging Talent Academy: I facilitated the organization of development sessions for my intern cohort in the UK and Guadalajara, Mexico.
-Intern’preneurship Programme: We were set tasks set by the intern panel to work on real business topics.
-Research: I researched into topics relevant to TA, such as alternatives to HireVue and other assessment tools for the recruitment process.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Professionally, I developed communication, multi-tasking and time management skills, along with working to deadlines and under pressure. I also developed role-specific skills in Talent Acquisition, such as employer branding.
