Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Very good role. Allows me to develop my skills in SAS Programming, using SQL and Datastep. Also in Teradata for SQL skills building. A lot of Excel Analysis as well as Power BI Dashboard building. Do get chance to develop skills in Python as well
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy it as Lloyds is very focused on your development, whether you're an apprentice or not. It's all about learning on the job and developing.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since starting. Learnt SAS Coding, using SQL and Datastep. Learnt to use Power BI for dashboard building. At the moment, learning to use Python

A lot of support, very focused on my development.

Not as much as from my employer/manager. But whenever I have questions, they do respond

Most my skills I've picked up have been through picking things up at work. Majority of the stuff we go through with training provider is much easier compared to what we do in role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there's many event happening in the office all the time like recently, the Chinese New Year. Iftaar day for Ramadan and Holi events etc.

Best work/life balance I've seen compared to other employers I've seen. Pay increases yearly, we get bonuses. Most importantly, you're development is important to them. They want you to do well, better and move to better senior roles at Lloyds.
