Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Thales to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Thales is an excellent company to work for. There are many benefits and the onsite training is very effective.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Thales?
Don't hesitate, apply. If you don't apply, you'll have nothing to gain from it. I applied several years in a row and got accepted the second time. It's not the end of the world if you get rejected. Try again. You have nothing to lose and everything I gain. I don't regret re-applying the following year because I'm in a great position now where I'm learning on the job and gaining experience from actually being in the industry. I tried going to college for a similar course. While it did mean my coursework is a breeze through the apprenticeship, I much prefer being in the industry to being sat in a classroom every day. Throughout the application process, don't hesitate with the answers to the questions. Speak up and make your ideas known. The difference between getting an offer may be a few words. So, as I said at the start, don't hesitate.
