Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role typically consists of carrying out data manipulation, analysis and modelling using different coding languages such as Python, SAS and SQL. These findings are eventually shared with team and senior managers to support recommendations and next steps.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
It involves applying Mathematics in the real world using programming which was something I always wanted to be able to apply when learning it growing up through school years

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed coding skills in multiple languages. My ability to present to groups and larger crowds is improved dramatically. I now have the confidence to do this with excitement, where it was something I dreaded before.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Pretty well organised but it can mean working on weekends are neccessary to get good grades while maintaining good outputs from work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I recieve a lot of support from my employer. My manager and team are very supportive in giving me the correct timings although it can be hard to get that balance right yourself when you don't want actual work and apprenticeshop work to affect each other
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I get good support but I think this could be better. Feedback is often lacking on assignments and clarity on what to write on assignments to get good grades can sometimes be vague.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Very well. It has forced me to challenge myself with what I can do with the data avaible to me. My team isn't a 'Data Science' team, more like analysts, so I am able to teach myself new concepts which I hope to eventually pass these skills through my team.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes plenty. There is a next generation talent network where you can get involved in a variety of societies/events. I personally get involved in Padel and football 5 aside time to time
