Gain a range of experience on different platforms that BAE systems make and the processes used in manufacturing and qualification of these platforms in all areas of the project lifecycle.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

This programme has allowed me to have a clear direction for the areas that I need to develop in, in order to have a career in the area of the business that I am most interested in. The skills coaches are so helpful and are committed to helping me develop professionally.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The skills I have learnt are tracked through the level 4 diploma this will help me both in my career but also when I want to put myself forward for chartership. These skills involve research skills, safety awareness and manufacturing awareness.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme has 6 rotational placements that last 6 months each this provides clear structure, the timeframe to which these placements are announced is variable so sometimes it can feel rushed when starting a new placement but when on placement the work completed is organised and structured so that the apprentice can have a positive impact int he team and do meaning full work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The skills coaches and capability/ curriculum lead provide excellent support and are committed to the continued wellbeing and development of the apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
