Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
On a day to day basis I provide support for those with a mental health diagnosis. And encourage residents to gain life skills for them to have a successful move on with less support. Whilst doing this I am also completing a level 3 apprenticeship in adult health and social care.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I love the work we do. We focus on providing person centre support that is lead by the resident. This help ensure that we work with them to achieve their goals in life.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Whilst in my position I have gained the care certificate. I am currently studying the level 3 adult health and social care. And the trust offers higher level apprenticeships beyond this.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The organisation is well structured. I know exactly who to go to for all aspects of my development with the trust.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have received all the support I've required. And know that there is more available should I require it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have received a lot of support with this. The head of training and development has checked him with me on a few occasions to see how im getting on and reminded me of the other support that is available.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I came into my role with no previous experience or qualifications. With the knowledge I have gained, I am now able to fully understand the scope of support I am able to provide and implement it. This has lead to better outcomes for our residents.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have a road show that allows us to network with other colleagues from across the trust.
