Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work with the marketing team on events planning, email campaigns and merchandise orders. This involves designing graphics, writing emails and loading payments onto our system.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The role is giving me so much knowledge and experience in marketing. I'm learning so many useful techniques and different softwares.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've developed a lot of my soft skills of communication, time management and problem solving. I've also gained skills in events planning, software usage and design.

Very organised with regular catch-ups!
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have my main manager who supports me along with someone I shadow who I can go to with any questions and manages my work load and tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have monthly sessions where we go through everything I've done for the month and everything for the next month. I was also provided with physical textbooks at the start of the program.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

We have EEEC volunteering where you can socialise and network with different functions. I'm also a part of WEN (the Woman's Empowerment Network) which hosts networking events.
