Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Based on each room I am assigned to, I engage with the children. This can involve anything between playing with them, learning with them and communicating with them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy this immensely, and the children also enjoy their time spent with me too. It is incredibly fulfilling, being able to witness their growth and be able to be a part of it.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot since working here and have put all that skills and knowledge into practise when working with the children. Things like my confidence and my creativity have definitely improved, and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge further.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is really structured as I am provided with all the necessary information and guidance I need. This is through my managers and colleagues offering me advice as well as recognising my efforts and hard work. This allows me to stay focused on my tasks and get everything done as I would know where to find the things I require.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They make sure I know how to find everything I need, but also feel free and comfortable to approach them if I were to ever need anything.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from them, so much so that they get in touch with me asking if everything is okay and allowing me to ask if I need help with anything.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It provides me with the relevant skills I need to be able to work in a childcare setting, and allowing me the opportunities to learn and grow, both professionally and personally.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have heard of some extra curricular events that were hosted previously, yet none have been planned for a while although there have been talks of there being one soon.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Complete childcare?
Be yourself, make sure you highlight all your good points, but be open about what it is you hope to achieve with this apprenticeship/ job and make sure you know what your strengths and weaknesses are.
