Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is to design, develop and test electronic hardware solutions. I move through different departments in the business helping out and learning along the way. It includes lots of hands on testing in labs, soldering, PCB design and manufacture, and lots of engineering principles.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my apprenticeship program. It is my ideal job and area of education.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed my existing skills of soldering, testing devices and designing circuits. I have learnt new skills like team work and following engineering principles and standards.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The work side of my apprenticeship is perfect. The company is top tier in terms of organisation. i cannot say the same for the university of Greenwich. It's one of the more unorganised, unstructured, inconsiderate universities out there.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Unlimited and high quality support, every day of the week.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Limited from the university, good range of support at work in office.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
So far i have learnt very little relevant skills and information to apply in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are plenty, which are all well organised and communicated. There are payday socials, networking events, lunch and learns, and many more.
