Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to day it can vary, I have done note-taking, analysed data, admin work, shadowed calls. My team that I am working in are senior and very busy so not always appropriate or possible for me to help.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My team are wonderful and extremely supportive but that’s separate from the programme I am enrolled on.

I've learnt some more excel skills and developed more of an understanding of employee relations/case work.

Doesn't feel like it is particularly organised or structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They are extremely supportive, they always point me in the right direction and I feel extremely safe to bring up anything I am feeling or any issues I have but they can't necessarily help in certain situations and are sometimes too busy.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Extremely hard to get hold of, have been countless issues that are still yet to be resolved, if anything I feel like the issue/a burden.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There is always social activities, sports team and professional networking events to be involved with, there is ample opportunity here.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
There is ample opportunity here, once you're in the business you can develop however suits you and your career and will be thoroughly supported. You will work with wonderful people and learn so much from them. It also allows flexible working and therefore creates a good work-life balance. With the current global climate, it is a secure industry to work in.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Be yourself and use specific examples of how you impacted something/what the outcome was from something you did to highlight how you deal with situations and what you would bring to the team.
