Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I complete my apprenticeship alongside my day-to-day role in branch. While it can be difficult to manage your responsibilities between your day role and your apprenticeship, I was fortunate enough to have a manager who was very understanding and flexible with my time so I was able to complete my work within the deadlines.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed the content and have been able to implement it in my current role. I feel that the content is interesting, relevant and detailed.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I've learnt so much about regulation and how it plays a part in financial services. I have also learnt how to help more vulnerable customers and support them in ways that I may not have been aware of before.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The course is structed and my tutor is very helpful and has been a fountain of knowledge for me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My manager has helped me with my progression and allocated specific times for me to be able to complete my work. My regional manager also organised for me to get a laptop so I was able to complete my work in other workspaces if needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
has been exceptional and the best tutor. She's friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think it is quite relevant to my current role, however, a lot of the information would not really come up in a branch setting.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, I am involved in the BOLD network which focuses on progression within the company for BAME individuals.
