Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role was assisting senior project managers in my team, and learning how to do end to end project management through working with my peers.
Alongside this i was completing one day a week on my apprenticeship, which included attending webinars and creating case studies.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the essence of the work and the learning, however i feel the structure could have been improved, and i could have been more informed about some areas.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt multiple new skills relating directly to project management, and have developed existing soft skills such as confidence, written and verbal communication etc

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It did get better towards the end, however in the beginning i felt uncertain around multiple topics, things were changing and not hugely well communicated.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I had frequent 121s with my TDO, and she provided support where i needed it
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I felt like it helped me understand fundamentals to a certain extent, but most of my learning and experience has come from on the job
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

After team meetings we have done activities, and sometimes throughout the year
