Throughout my time at CMS completing my Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, I provide general administrative support across a wide range of practice groups within the Business Development department.
I assist with the formatting and amendment of client presentation and proposals, internal team presentations and documents, coordinate meetings and appointments, support with event-related administrative tasks, pull reports from our CRM system called Bridge and update data records as well as support with photography sessions by uploading and tagging staff photographs, booking rooms, updating booking forms, etc.

So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed my programme. It has been an amazing experience to learn on the job whilst working alongside experienced professionals. Whilst completing each of my workshops I have been able to use what I have learnt in my every day working environment, which has helped me grow both professionally and personally, whilst also expanding my skill set.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is very well structured and organised. I am provided with continuous support from my tutor who I have a catch up call with monthly, to go over any questions or concerns I may have which we can go through together. I also am able to email my tutor whenever I may be stuck which is very helpful.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer has been nothing short of amazing with the support they provide to me. Always checking in with how I am getting on, ensuring if I have any questions they are more than happy to answer them and support me whenever needed. It really has made my apprenticeship experience very enjoyable knowing I am supported by my employer.

My tutor who works for my training provider is always there to support me whenever needed, any questions I have are always answered clearly and efficiently.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Extremely confident, everything I have been learning in my workshops throughout my apprenticeship has been hugely beneficial and I have been able to apply this to my every day tasks within my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I help often with the events team which has enabled a great opportunity for me to see how networking events work, are created, structured and ran in general. I have met lots of inspiring people along the way and look forwarding to continuing doing so.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend CMS to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. A very supportive and motivating environment which encourages success and greatness. CMS as a company also have great values which allign with my own, and is a great company to work for who I am proud to represent.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CMS?
When applying I would recommend researching lots of information on CMS as a company, their charity work, values, what makes them stand out from competitors and use this to your advantage throughout your application process. The more I read on CMS and researched into the company, the more eager I was at wanting to be apart of CMS and represent the company in a professional and capable manner.
