My role involves analysing data to answer key business questions and support informed decision-making. On a day-to-day basis, this includes coding, conducting research, and presenting insights to stakeholders. Through my apprenticeship, I am building on this experience by applying advanced statistical techniques to develop predictive models and create data-driven tools that enhance business outcomes.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is well structured, relevant, and directly applicable to my day-to-day role. The teaching is strong, and the materials are of excellent quality, which makes the learning both engaging and practical.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed both new and existing skills through the programme, particularly in machine learning, Python, and natural language processing. I have strengthened my ability to work with data more efficiently, apply advanced analytical techniques, and build models that generate meaningful insights. These skills have enhanced my confidence in tackling more complex problems and delivering more impactful, data-driven solutions.

The programme is well organised and clearly structured into modules, making it easy to follow and build knowledge progressively. It offers a good balance between live workshops and independent study time, allowing for both guided learning and self-paced development. In addition, the availability of elective pathways provides flexibility to explore areas of interest and further tailor my learning.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very supportive, providing dedicated time for my apprenticeship and ensuring I am staffed on projects where I can apply and develop my new skills. I also have opportunities to collaborate with the machine learning side of the business, which further enhances my learning and practical experience.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive strong support from my training provider, including regular meetings with both my data mentor and training coach. They are approachable and available when needed, providing guidance and feedback that helps me stay on track and progress confidently towards my qualifications.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
