Day to day i take part in standard buying and procurement through an ERP system and by calling and visiting supplier. I am learning and developing my skills for regular business operating.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed skills from sending rfq's and PO's to managing stakeholders and even simply things like sending emails as i have left school and joined the working world
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very structured in terms of 4 placements over 2 years 1 every 6 months, then in different placements there are different managers and some are better planned than others each one different and will operate different for each apprentice who is in that placement

Alot of options for support, regular sessions face to face and online sessions, Lots of contacts and building a relationship with my tutor to help make me feel more supported

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Be yourself, be ready to learn and wanting to achieve more, have an open mindset and take as many opportunities as you are offered, you can only get out as much as you put in in terms of applying and actually learning
