Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am exposed to many different machines and equipment on site that we maintain and have a great support network around me weather that be on site or off site with the people in my apprenticeship
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Everyday is a new day where you learn something new whether that be learning how to present yourself, learning new things about people, learning new things about yourself or learning about new equipment.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Upon starting knowing nothing about electrical engineering and/or mechanical engineering I have been exposed to various different methods and processes and always been given a chance to learn myself under supervision incase I make a mistake and not criticised for making a mistake but being taught how and where I went wrong and what I can do to fix my mistake if I cannot fix it myself.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My program is extremely well structured as if I am confused about anything to do with my apprenticeship I have the correct people to reach out to fully explain my questions.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I am very lucky to be with a company as supportive as CBRE who always go above and beyond to exceed expectations and make sure you are always learning and ready for new challenges.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We had some issues with training providers but the transition was smooth from one provider to another.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Every week on day release is a new learning opportunity and the tutors break everything down if you are struggling and we don’t move on until everyone is at a level of understanding.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, I have been invited to networking events, training events to meet different people on different sites and to learn how things work on their main site.
