Overall, how would you describe your experience at Forvis Mazars?
Amazing, lovely office, good training and an extremely supportive network of people. For someone with a degree not in accounting, it has been an amazing experience.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Main responsibilities;
- Liaising with client
- Working on audit, inspecting client wp's, completing walkthroughs etc
- Exams and studying, as part of apprenticeship for ACA qualification
Working with clients is great, especially if you are an outgoing person.

Not only does Forvis provide great support whilst you obtain your qualifications, the office culture is very friendly and supportive. Even people outside your office will do everything they can to help you if you just ask!

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Forvis Mazars?
Be confident in your knowledge no matter your background. Being able to work in a team and be cordial with colleges is a crucial often forgotten part of interviewing. If you are confident technically you must also show this outwardly, especially if you apply to work in the public sector where you will often speak with clients. Fake it till you make it if you have to!
