This five year finance apprenticeship programme provides great exposure to multiple areas of finance in a global organisation. There are five annual rotations, in different finance areas.
I'm currently working in global commercial finance, supporting budget cycles such as forecasting a 10 year plan, in addition to the quarterly business review (which involves preparing SET and Investor Relations for the quarterly meeting with analysts and investors).

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme, it has provided substantial exposure to finance within a global organisation with meaningful opportunities to develop both professionally and personally. At times, it has been challenging, managing exams and working, however this has greatly developed my resilience and commitment to my professional development.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is structured well, with five annual rotations. The first two years were specific areas, and the final 3 were less structured, providing opportunities for me to share ideas of interest and navigate my career path.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my employer, each manager has been very flexible with my studies, enabling me to manage my time well.
In addition, the company provide lots of training on different topics to support continuous professional development.

I receive lots of support from my training provider, they are super helpful, always willing to offer additional support with exams if required.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Occasionally my studies transfer to my day to day role, which is very useful for both exams and work. However, much of my studies hasn't specifically related to my role at work, which does make the exams harder to study for.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work, for example there is a run club/ fitness area. There are multiple early talent events to help build my network within the early talent community.
