Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is to support the testing of devices and equipment to ensure that they do not interfere with/cause interference to other devices.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am enjoying my role a lot so far.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have grown more confident in my ability to understand technical processes and contribute to discussions and business proposals.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is well organised and a lot of future-planning goes into each individual who goes through it.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer is very good at ensuring I receive the right amount of support that I will need to complete my jo role to the best of my ability.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The college is very good at ensuring I am meeting all of my requirements for passing this apprenticeship.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Some of the content is relevant to my specific role, but given that electromechanical engineering is a broad subject, some areas do not apply to job role at all. For example, the modules about signals, control systems and embedded electronics are very relevant to me since most of my work is electrical, but the modules about structural analysis and dynamic systems don't apply.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I have been involved in events being hosted for local schools to help them gain an interest in STEM careers. I am also involved in the apprentice council to try and support enrichment activities for my fellow apprentices.
