Handling complex cases or escalations.
Ensuring safety checks and risk processes are complete.
Reviewing diaries, digital coaching, and customer service standards.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
There were many valuable insights throughout the programme, but the most significant was the focus on coaching. The training resources helped me refine and elevate my coaching approach, which I now consider my most powerful leadership tool. The structured learning and reflective exercises provided practical techniques that I’ve been able to apply confidently in my day to day work.
In addition to strengthening my coaching abilities, the area where I have grown the most is in managing performance effectively. The programme helped me build confidence in having challenging conversations, asking deeper questions, and understanding how to tailor my approach to each individual. This has enabled me to support colleagues more effectively and guide them toward achieving required standards.
I consistently apply the coaching techniques gained through the programme in my role every day. Forward planning has also become a key part of how I operate. I’ve integrated numerous practical tools and insights from the apprenticeship into my leadership approach, which has contributed to stronger team engagement and improved overall performance. The learning has genuinely enhanced both how I lead and how my team delivers.

Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
Communication throughout the programme was strong. I always knew what was expected of me, what deadlines were approaching, and where to access the relevant learning materials. The resources were well laid out and easy to follow, which helped me stay on track alongside my day‑to‑day role.
One aspect that made a significant difference to my experience was the support from my Babington tutor. Their encouragement, guidance and persistence genuinely kept me moving forward during the more challenging stages of the apprenticeship. Without their support — and at times, the gentle push I needed — I don’t believe I would have reached the finish line.
