I'm learning how to machine various different jobs using a variety of machines and techniques such as a lathe, milling machine, and grinding machine for jobs that vary based on what the company requires
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is very interesting learning to use various different machines and learning to problem solve for issues that change from day to day

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills learning to use various heavy machinery and equipment and a variety of different tools such as a forklift, lathe or a handheld grinder depending on the job at hand

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It can be difficult to coordinate between the workplace and college to ensure I am completing all my necessary coursework as well as continuing to contribute to my workplace and travelling between the two but the structure for my apprenticeship is clearly planned out and the college and my workplace are continually communicating
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is extremely understanding and helpful with ensuring I have everything I need to succeed in my coursework and helping me to complete my apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is very involved in my day to day work ensuring I am up to date and prepared for all my coursework
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The various tutors I have are all very knowledgeable and able to provide detailed explanations and answers to questions I have about the industry or work I have

I dont know of any extra curricular activities provided by my work but they provide various benefits for external extra curricular activities such as gym membership discounts
