Overall, how would you describe your experience at Forterra?
Great experience. I gained exposure to multiple aspects within the business, which allowed me to gain a thorough understanding of Forterra, and the wider industry.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
The role consisted of four, six-month rotations. During each rotation I was set a project, relating to a business need within that particular function. The rotation involved carrying out the main responsibilities of the team I was in, and completing a business improvement project - allowing for valuable contributions to be made. I enjoyed the research projects, which involved market research tasks as it allowed me to gain exposure to our direct customer base in order to implement improvements.
