Overall, how would you describe your experience at Computacenter?
I've absolutely loved my time so far at Computacenter! Everyone is so warm and friendly and are genuinely always looking to support you no matter how senior and experienced they may be within the company. Although they definitely make you work for it , the rewards and fun I have here is unrivalled - whether it be going to partner connect events, going for food/drinks with customers, or even being entertained in our O2 Box!
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As I am on a graduate scheme, my main responsibilities include attending various rotations throughout different areas of the company - learning about our key offerings as an organisation, new technologies as well as continually networking within and outside of Computacenter. My favourite part of my role is spending most my days with an amazing graduate cohort and meeting new people including customers and vendors as I love building new relationships.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I feel really valued by my team - I get to have lots of team time shadowing team members as well attending lots of events with them learning as I go!

I think the development opportunity this graduate scheme offers is truly 10/10. There is so much packed into it, with so many high calibre talent and leadership individuals supporting you every step of the way! We also get such fantastic, constructive feedback as we work our way through the scheme which has really helped me personally as someone working in IT for the first time.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

As mentioned, I genuinely feel like I am developing and learning something new every day at Computacenter. If I ever have any struggles or areas I need to improve on, I know there are always a sea of individuals who would be willing to help me through. I think what is so beneficial at Computacenter is that we get both formal 'classroom-like training' as well as 'role play customer scenarios' that I am confident will really prepare us for future customer facing roles after the scheme.

We have great support at CC from multiple avenues. We get a dedicated Buddy, Coach and Mentor to help us through the scheme as well as excellent line managers who a constantly reaching out, checking in, and providing fantastic feedback.

The atmosphere is great - work hard play harder! Everyone is so friendly and warm too -the leadership visibility is unparalleled.
