Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I handle all the post sales orders for my aligned customer. I send emails to them and create dedicated customer reports to show their outstanding orders. I place their orders and contact customers to arrange delivery times to their needs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I undertook the Level 3 Business Administration Programme. This programme helped me to network with multiple parts of the business and gain wider knowledge of Computacenter which postively impacted me in my role. The apprenticeship programme covers multiple topics that needed me to think outside the box and I even had to run my own project at the end of it which gave me a great experience of project management too.

I gained confidence when talking to customers and built on my networking skills especially with fellow apprentices and those within my team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very structured, you have clear tasks and goals. My skills coach was always very supportive and clear in what she wanted me to achieve.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is lots of support for apprentices at Computacenter. I was given more than enough time to complete my studies by my manager and met regularly with my training provider as well as the Computacenter Apprenticeships Team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I met my skills coach regularly and she always offered extra support if needed for example extra drop in sessions. The face to face workshops as well as online ones were always interactive.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My apprenticeship really helped me to gain confidence in my role as well as how a business operates and collaborates.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are always lots of networking events as well as opportunities to meet with fellow apprentices and also go into schools to promote apprenticeships.
