Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I spend the majority of my time working on various platforms in the lab, to get data and then share and discuss these results with people in my team and department. There are also various team meetings across the week and time for developing and learning new skills. One day a week I spend completing university work for my degree, which is online.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my programme: it has been great to develop my skills while in the workplace and I am constantly learning new things (both in terms of subject knowledge, but also how the business works) which has been really interesting and engaging. Completing my degree along side working has been great as I have been able to learn the theory and see how it is applied in practice simultaneously.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have developed a variety of skills, both specific to my role and general soft skills too

3/5
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are many apprentices at AZ which means there are many opportunities to socialise, both within and outside of work. In the wider company, there are also various other social and networking events occurring throughout the year which you can get involved with.
