Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
2/5
Unboxing equipment, Setting up devices with power and video cables. Moving equipment. Rubbish collections.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
In my starting year, I would grade the programme around a 4/5; however, in the last academic year, it hasn't been as expected.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
2/5
In my first year, I developed a range of technical skills; however, in recent times, this has not been the case. In terms of soft skills, I have been given the chance to demonstrate these, such as organisation, public speaking and teamwork.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
I personally don't feel that there is much structure directly within my apprenticeship. The extra-curricular side of it, such as workshops or wider opportunities, has been great and I have enjoyed them, but in regard to my learning and development, I feel like it could be better.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I feel greatly supported by my training provider in trying to explore opportunities to learn. They have guided me in striving towards qualifications and I feel that they have been a reliable support structure to help me achieve.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It has given me the confidence to speak up and input my views to reach an optimal outcome. This causes conversations to occur which further progresses my learning.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
The Early Careers team have been amazing in providing opportunities to connect with others and learn from them. There are also many sports events I have been invited to, such as Netball tournaments or a Football tournament to support Black History Month.

The culture is great where it is easy to meet and learn from new people and the Early Careers Team have been perfect as a support structure.
