Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Learning Sheet Metal Work split between college and BAE facilities
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
People are friendly and easy to get along with, the content is varied and covers a wide range. When in a workshop it is enjoyable and interesting

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt many new skills

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
1/5
It is a mess. College is disorganised and we only received some teachers within 4 months of ending our first year. They have given UPKs at college and to this day there is no person to hand them into, while also not giving you the time to complete them. BAE facilities are well run but it does not cover over the faults of the college.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Lots of support is available but there is too much as it has to be passed through many hoops before action is taken
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
In college it varies from teacher to teacher. Some give you all the help you need others just leave you in the dark. BAE instructors are very good at helping you through your development.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It works
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
there are extra-curricular activities, I chose to avoid these
