Shadow and work alongside experienced project managers, manage projects collaboratively and independently, manage project delivery and controls, university 1 day a week.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I love my role and my job. I feel supported constantly and am always encouraged to push myself and progress.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I learn new skills and develop my skills every day. I am so much more confident and am always improving my communication skills. I am becoming a competent project manager and professional employee.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Very well structured and organised in most areas. I am part of the first intake on the national programme and there is a lot of trial and error for my year. The company tend to respond well to feedback and are always making improvements for later years on the scheme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have a range of support available to me and there is always multiple people I could go to for support with anything.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
There is a lot of support available however due to the minimal amount of time we have on campus in later years, it can be difficult to find time to utilise the support effectively.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It is good to learn the background context and theory to be able to apply into my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Lots of activities which help me to develop myself and also support others. (Conferences, networking events, workshops, STEM Ambassador programme, social events)
