Organised, however, due to the massive operation of taking everyone onboard your questions can get missed. + I had an issue with the changing on my name during an onboarding process which caused delays to my work when I joined :(
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I will be honest, anytime you need support, there are so many people and departments you can go to, such as early careers, your line managers, your placement managers, many seniors, HR, and a dedicated hotline panel. There are many more people you can approach for support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I do receive quite a bit of support, and I am confident that I can approach my training providers at any point. However, I can argue that it could be difficult to gain clear instructions, such as obtaining resources or completing assignments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I definitely believe that my qualification will help me perform better in my role, as I am learning about project management the more I study and get involved.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Definitely, networking events are great to help you with any future questions, problems or placements you are looking for. Matter of fact, many internal events are there to support you and your future.

Why?
Quite an easy and outstanding onboarding, recruiting and journey process from the beginning. I do believe that there is a lot of support throughout the workplace and especially if your are an apprentice because you are given support everywhere you go. It is definitely a place to gain experience for your personal self and a huge development process through BAE Systems.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
I would recommend to look through the BAE Systems Page and understand thoroughly what type of company we are and what we work we do and who we work for. There are many other aspects to look at such as the behaviours and standards BAE Systems look for. It is key to understand the process of BAE Systems. I will tell you this, that applying and going for interviews with BAE Systems isn't easy, I am not telling you to scare you, but it is a tough process, they want to know you as a person and if you are willing to develop yourself through BAE Systems, through the process, I have met many people who have failed and applied many times before they got through successfully, so this also means that if you fail the process once, do not worry it just means you need another go or there may be a huge number of applicants. Best advice I will give, lastly, be yourself, and be open. Ask many questions and do not fear, because you will be known around the workplace more, also you will understand anything that doesn't make sense. Be your best, be yourself.
