Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My current role revolves heavily around working within an office environment. Answering emails, attending and running meetings which help develop a few projects being worked on within my team. Currently working on two projects, with one hoping to reduce time wastage within my area and the other relates to starting back up a research project which develops my knowledge and also provides a benefit to my team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I thoroughly enjoy my programme on a day to day basis and enjoy having the responsibility to work on actual projects within the business. This makes me feel like I'm actually contributing to something within the business.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
My apprenticeship has provided me with the opportunity to develop my skills through workshops, projects and general networking. All these practices just scratch the surface of what is capable within the business, and all can be used to develop an employees skills/learn new skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My programme has a plan set out, and is currently in the process of carrying out this vision. The plan aims to bring the apprentices last few years to life, giving the apprentice a sense of direction and understanding of what to expect over their final few years on the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Since i started ive always had someone i could go to in the case of my immediate struggles. My options of who to go to has only increased since i started with the business, and as my network hopefully grows I'm sure the level of support will only increase.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I feel a lot of the work is up to me to learn and develop my skills, but i sometimes come out of lectures with more confusion than actual development. I believe i receive enough support to complete my qualifications.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Most likely because i haven't delved to deep into a placement as of right now, but most of the work/topics completed with my training provider doesn't really link to my day-to-day whilst out on placement.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Work hosts a multitude of different events, which i try my best to attend, but some events require me to network in order to discover them, meaning as i attend these events my network grows which helps further develop my professional career.
