To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Everyday is different and I feel well supported throughout

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I am learning new things all the time including lots of theory as well as systems and processes. I like to know the what, why, when and how of the things i do rather than just what to do.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very structured which I like.
Knowing what is coming up means I can maintain a work/home life balance, especially when it comes to assignment deadlines.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I know who i can go to to seek further guidance. Also having lots of employees who have completed similar schemes helps too and is often reassuring
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
This can be hit and miss. Feedback is given on written tasks but often questions during sessions are not answered there and then and this can lead to some confusion.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Uni teaches us the theory and placement enables me to opportunity to apply the knowledge in a safe environment
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are social events organised but these are mainly organised by individuals as oppose to the business.
BAE do organise lots of networking events such as conferences, tours and speakers to share their knowledge and experience.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Great environment, Very Supportive and Lots of benefits compared to other businesses.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Look for opportunities to focus on when things haven't gone the way you would of liked. This enables critical thinking and recognises that things don't always go to plan but often things can be resolved in order to attain a reasonable outcome.
