I am currently still on my first placement but I have been creating and storing documents/spreadsheets, setting up sessions/meetings including tracking attendees and engaging with stakeholders in the wider team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the apprenticeship scheme. I have learnt a lot about the company and my role since starting. Everyone has been welcoming and supportive and it has allowed me to network with more senior members of the business.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed excel skills (previously I had never used it before) and I have grown in confidence at public speaking.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I am aware of when placements are changing (only had a slight alteration), we also have regular college days and group calls.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is a lot of support available and for a range of issues. We are made aware of how to access this support regularly.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We complete assignments which are marked so that feedback can be given. We are then allowed to resubmit to ensure we are meeting the criteria.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The Business apprentice scheme provides lots of insight into business roles. I had previously never done a business role but since starting my understanding has really developed.

Yes
Why?
The company looks after it's employees. It has a positive working environment and is very supportive of new starters. The work is fast paced and has allowed me to develop new and old skills which are beneficial to my role.

If you are interested in the company, ensure you have researched what the role entails and what the company does. Also, ensure you prepare for your interview and draw on this research to help you.
