Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I completed two apprenticeships in both Business Administration and Marketing whilst at Guardian, contributing to the day-to-day operations of the business and it's growth. Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth processes of completion of subcontractor and engineers jobs. Speaking with clients to answer queries, and liaising closely with subcontractors to communicate works. Also taking the social media in-house and having the opportunity to independently schedule and upload content ideas.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The apprenticeship placement was really beneficial, particularly within the first 6 months of my apprenticeship, consistently gaining the support I needed to build on my skills and knowledge.

My skillset grew substantially throughout my time here at Guardian, I was always provided with endless opportunities to help build my knowledge both inside and outside of the business.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The onboarding process of becoming an Apprentice here was really smooth, you sit with every department and learn how different aspects truly make a business. I received regular reviews and progress check-in meetings with my line manager and college to ensure I was fully supported throughout.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Excellent support from my employer, I knew who to go to for support in different areas and always received this well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Likewise from my training providers, I could contact them at any time for support and general catch ups to ensure I was where I needed to be in regards to progress building.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualifications I earned really helped with my knowledge in both areas of business administration and marketing elements, allowing me to perform better in my role and take on additional responsibilities in the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I've been provided with opportunities to attend the largest business expo event in the UK and networking events, as well as social activities with team members.
