I am responsible for managing the daily operations within buildings and ensuring business continuity for our clients.

I love my company - the programme is great.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

It has not even reached a year yet and I can confidently say it has changed me as a person. I am much more confident in the job and outside - I am no longer introverted and enjoy meeting new people and networking.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

There has been a clear plan set out from the moment i started the apprenticeship - so I was aware of where I would be and what I was doing at all times.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There are multiple monthly check in calls for us next-gens where we can catch up with each other and our managers - asking for help or advice if necessary and is always welcomed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The qualification requires me to do tasks based off the assignment I am currently doing which is great to operationally learn skills as an FM
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

100% the topics that I learn are all relevant to my role and the day-to-day tasks I have to complete. So it always allows me to put my new knowledge into practice.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes - there are always opportunities to get involved in social activities, networking events, and events for expanding knowledge from industry experts.

The community - as i always say to my friends is something like no other. Everybody wants to get to know each other and are always willing to help. I find it surreal how seen you feel in a company as big as CBRE
